As part of an environmental initiative on site, QSL identified specific catch basins that were problematic—particularly during ship operations involving sensitive cargo.

To address this, galvanized steel sediment baskets were installed, along with geotextile fabric acting as a sediment barrier. This robust and effective solution allows for the efficient capture of suspended particles and debris, improving the quality of stormwater runoff entering the drainage system.

The system helps QSL meet environmental compliance standards while adapting to the unique operational challenges of the port terminal.
