Custom Drainage Solution Featuring ABT Drains' TrenchFormer TFX

As part of the rehabilitation of Wiseman and Manseau streets in Outremont (Montreal), located at the bottom of a steep slope, Poly-Expert Distribution supplied a high-performance, long-lasting drainage solution using the TrenchFormer TFX system from ABT Drains.

This demanding urban project required oversized trench drains, over 14 inches (350 mm) wide and reaching depths of more than 1000 mm, particularly around multiple strategically placed catch basins. To effectively manage the high water velocity caused by the incline, the trench drains were installed in a double configuration with a 1% built-in slope, ensuring optimal flow toward the drainage points.

The project included ADA-compliant heel-proof grates, rated Load Class G (up to 200,000 lbs), providing exceptional durability and mechanical resistance for perpendicular-to-road installation in a high-traffic urban setting.
