As part of the surface water management for the 65-meter-long loading dock at Olymel’s Boucherville facility, a high-performance drainage system was implemented using ABT Drains – Polydrain Interceptor channels.

The system features an integrated slope of 0.6%, ensuring efficient water flow along the entire length of the dock. A 12-inch vertical outlet provides seamless connection to the existing underground drainage infrastructure.

The channels are topped with one-piece ductile iron grates offering a 67% open area, combining excellent hydraulic capacity with the strength required for heavy traffic zones.

Installation and implementation were carried out by Groupe Claude Chagnon, a trusted contractor known for its civil engineering and infrastructure expertise.

This solution delivered optimal drainage performance, long-term durability, and enhanced safety for the site.
